Things to Know Before You Go

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

How do I access the cabin?

You’ll receive a personalized access code and smart lock instructions the day of your arrival. Check-in is after 3:00 PM.

Is the cabin pet-friendly?

While we love pets, we do not offer pet-friendly accomodations.

Do you charge a cleaning fee?

We don’t charge a standard cleaning fee! Just tidy up before you leave. A $250 fee may apply only if the cabin requires excessive cleaning.

Is there trash service?

No. All trash must be taken off the mountain. A $75 per bag fee applies if trash is left behind.

Do I need travel insurance?

While it’s not required, we strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your reservation in case of unexpected changes, weather, or emergencies. Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 30 days of check-in—even in cases of illness, weather, or travel disruptions—so having insurance can give you peace of mind.

What is the maximum number of guests?

Occupancy is limited to 7 guests. Exceptions may be considered for families with young children.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival are refunded minus a $95 fee.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or around the cabin. Violators risk forfeiting their deposit or being charged a fee of $250.  

Are visitors allowed?

Only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors are permitted but are the guests’ responsibility. This is a no-event/party cabin. No exceptions.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin.

Is there cell service?

Some carriers have limited coverage. Wi-Fi calling is recommended once connected.

Is there heating or A/C?

The cabin has central heating with a heat pump and an electric fireplace in the main living room. Air conditioning is typically not needed due to the cool mountain climate.

Are there any security cameras on the property?

Yes. For your safety and peace of mind, there is a security camera at the front door (built into the doorbell) and two on the exterior of the property. These cameras are for security purposes only and do not record inside the cabin.

Is there parking?

Yes. Driveway parking is available for 2 vehicles, with additional street parking nearby.

What if there’s snow on the road?

From November to March, check road conditions at az511.gov. Chains or 4WD may be required.
