Our Policies and Rental Agreement:

Arrival and Departure Times:
Check-In Time: After 3:00 PM
Check-Out Time: By 10:00 AM

NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED

Cleaning Fee:
We don’t charge a standard cleaning fee—just tidy up before you leave. However, if the cabin requires excessive cleaning, a $250 fee may apply.

Trash Fee:
There is no trash service on Mount Lemmon, so all trash generated during your stay must be taken with you when you leave. Guests are responsible for removing all garbage from the property. Any trash left behind will result in a $75 per bag removal fee, charged to cover the time and cost for our cleaning crew to transport it off the mountain. Thank you for helping us keep Mount Lemmon clean and beautiful!

Refund Policy:
All bookings are non-refundable within 30 days of check-in—no exceptions. Cancellations made 31 days or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a refund minus a $95 cancellation fee.

The $95 cancellation fee is to cover credit card processing fees, which are charged to us at the time of booking and are non-refundable. This helps us offset those costs when a reservation is cancelled.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your plans.

Winter Travel Advisory (November–March):
If you’re booking between November and March, please be aware that snow is common on Mount Lemmon and along the Catalina Highway. Road conditions can change quickly, and temporary closures or chain/4WD requirements may be in effect. Before traveling, we strongly recommend checking current conditions at Mt. Lemmon Weather or az511.gov for road updates. Guests are responsible for ensuring safe and timely arrival—no refunds will be issued due to weather-related travel issues.

Other Notes About Your Stay: 

  • These are non-smoking buildings. Violators risk forfeiting their security deposits. 

  • Maximum occupancy is limited to 7 guests, with exceptions considered only for families with young children.

  • The number of guests must not exceed the number originally scheduled during booking.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight. Visitors are the sole responsibility of the booking Guest.

  • Minimum rental age is 18. The primary Guest must be present for the entire stay and is legally responsible for all occupants.

  • Parents are solely responsible for monitoring and safeguarding their children.

  • Subletting or assignment of the rental is not allowed.

  • No pets are allowed. No exceptions.

  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. No parties or loud music allowed. Noise disputes may result in eviction.

  • There is no daily maid service. 

  • No open flames, campfires, cigarettes, candles or charcoal grills are permitted due to forest fire risk.

  • A propane grill is available for use—please turn off the gas after each use.

  • Millie’s Run Guests are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the property.

  • Millie’s Run is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. Guests assume all risks during their stay.

  • Guests must keep the property and furnishings in good condition. An inventory check will be conducted after checkout.

  • Only use appliances for their intended purposes.

  • Guests must allow access for necessary temporary repairs; no refunds will be issued for equipment or utility failure.

  • Millie’s Run is not liable for interruptions in water, gas, electricity, plumbing, or other issues due to weather, natural disasters, or county regulations.

  • Guests may be charged for excessive cleaning, unnecessary utility use, or other costs incurred due to their stay.

  • Short power outages occasionally happen during storms. A flashlight is provided, and there are extra blankets for warmth if needed.

  • Mount Lemmon is home to bears, deer, and other wildlife. Do not leave food or trash outside. Always use the bear-proof garbage bin.

  • Keep doors and windows closed when unattended.

  • Any disputes must be resolved through mediation within 45 miles of the property. Mediation fees are split equally.

  • All parties waive the right to a jury trial in any matter related to this agreement.

  • Summerhaven has a limited mountain water supply. Please conserve water where possible, especially with long showers or running taps.

  • Violations of this agreement may result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of the deposit, and additional charges if damages exceed the deposit.

  • By completing a booking, Guests agree to all terms of this Rental Agreement.

Check-Out Reminder:

  • Please wash used dishes, take trash generated during stay, and lock the door before you leave.

  • Turn off all lights and AC/heat.
  • Please put any dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom.
  • Close and lock all windows and doors.
  • Double-check your belongings to ensure you have retrieved all your belongings.
